sigh...

The good news just keeps coming. As of the 27th, Brian will be out of a job. He found out on Friday. It's always something, isn't it? But it could be a lot worse, so I'm trying not to freak out. I know he'll find another job, hopefully one that he really loves but with only a week to look, it seems unlikely.

In actual good news, we went to lunch yesterday with the kids and our parents to celebrate Casey's 14th birthday. We had a great time. I took this picture of the kids:



Today we're going to Easton, which is kind of an outdoor mall, so Casey can do some birthday shopping. The weather today is amazing, it's been a beautiful weekend. I'm trying to stay positive and focus on the good stuff. It's going to be a great day!
