I'm not having such a great weekend. We thought it was going to be really busy and fun but some of our plans got cancelled. We were supposed to go watch my brother-in-law's band play, but the show got cancelled. Yesterday we watched the Buckeyes win over Michigan. That was a lot of fun. There were 15 people at our house. Brian made a big honey glazed ham and his yummy sour cream mashed potatoes. We had a ton of food, which was very cool, like an early Thanksgiving.

After the game we were supposed to go see another band. Brian is friends with one of the people in the band (I think he's the drummer) so he was going to play a song or two with them. On the way there though, I hit a dog that was running down the road. I tried so hard not to hit it, I was clear in the other lane, but I couldn't help it. I was so upset about it that we ended up not going to the show. I'm still just sick about it, I keep thinking about the owners having to find out that the doggie died. I know I would be devastated if anything happened to our dog.

Today we were supposed to go to a baby shower. It got cancelled too. But instead we're going to visit Brian's grandpa who is from Indiana and we're going to my nephew's 3rd birthday party so that should make everything a lot better :)

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend. Next week is Thanksgiving, can't believe it! I only have to work Monday and Tuesday, so I'm excited about that.

Ahh so sorry about your event. That is traumatizing. I know I feel bad if I hit a snake or something. It is hard but remember that you tried not to, you feel bad about it, and your relating to the owners of the dog, which means your not a bad person at all!! It sounded so much better in my head. The game sounded like a good one! I would love to watch over there with the food you guys got going on! How far are you from me? Too bad not closer! Have a great week and that's so cool that your only workng M & Tues.
