So I had the afternoon off today, pretty excited about that! After a quick trip to Hobby Lobby for some Love, Elsie stuff, I decided to run some errands in town, pay some bills, etc. I took Casey to lunch, which was nice and then drove Hannah to work. On the way back home, I noticed that the low fuel light was on. So I stopped at the gas station to fill up because I knew Brian would need gas to drive to practice tonight. I pumped my gas and went inside to pay and for a diet soda.
The person in front of me pre-paid for $5.00 in gas and the girl at the register rang it up wrong. She tried and tried and tried to fix it while I stood there waiting patiently. Then I guess she gave up and just started ringing up my stuff and tried to charge me for that $5.00 in gas! Like I wouldn't notice or something? I don't know...anyway, she had to call someone from the back to fix it. The cashier was going on and on about what happened and then went to another register to ring out the people behind me. Um, why didn't she take care of me first? I was just trying to pay and go home.
But it wasn't a big deal, I wasn't in a hurry or anything. The lady from the back rang up my soda and thought that I was the person who had pumped $5.00 in gas. When I told her that my total was quite a bit higher than that, she got all cranky about it because she had to cancel out another order and charge me correctly. WTF?!?!?!? I was just trying to be honest and got treated rudely as a thank you. So annoying!
